Born in Germany in 1952 and educated in Switzerland, Charles Penny began his career early in life. His many one-person shows include the AM Chadwick Gallery, Amalgam Gallery and Harrods in London, and many exhibitions in Japan. The time he spends in the Mediterranean is reflected in his subject matter. His images convey the shades of light, the heat and the feel of summer.
